Running Cygwin Scripts from Windows
To run a cygwin script from Windows you’ll need to do something along the lines of:
C:\cygwin\bin\bash.exe -l -c "~username\scripts\myscript.sh"
-l is important as it makes the new shell a login shell.
This is particularly useful if you want to use the Windows Task Scheduler to periodically run scripts. In this case the program to run is
bash.exe and the arguments are everything else.
