Americans are so Narrow Minded – a GDC report
Note that the failure to capitalize on browser-based games and mobile devices is a larger symptom of a failure to truly capitalize on the web. American game companies don’t seem to be interested in doing much more than traditional multiplayer and stats tracking.

More applications, more services, more traffic
The tremendous growth of the mobile space is a sight to behold but even more interesting is the growth in the power of mobile devices. The Iphone is nothing, I say. We haven’t even gotten to the good part.

I think Apple is really going to regret creating a device so oriented towards consumers. They, and the rest of the media, are going to be very disappointed to discover that there simply aren’t as many of these consumers around as there used to be. It’s certainly not a growth segment.
