Where is the money in local blogging?
In retrospect this seems obvious but everybody on the web is so focused on advertising that all other opportunities are missed. Advertising won’t work because local blogging could never really be an “eyeballs”-type operation. The value created would have to be driven by quality, not quantity.

Professors Banning Laptops In the Lecture Hall
Ironically, the problem here is that there’s nothing on the laptop related to the lecture. Imagine if there was an application or a web page that students could access… then the laptop could perhaps enhance the lecture instead of perhaps competing with it.

Things to Do With Your Many Aging Netbooks
Some good ideas, but I don’t see charity as an option. Is there nobody collecting old computers?
